[Comic] Not a Pokemon

I had a request a while back to draw myself as a Pokemon. For all intents and purposes, this is NOT a Pokemon at all, the same way it’s not associated with any other media, company or copyright ๐Ÿ˜›

    • :3 I have a surprisingly large collection of Pokemon cards. I’m awkwardly proud that I still have the original starter deck with the decks, tokens and Blastoise card in mint condition. I still remember my first trade – three Diglett for a Bulbasaur. Totally grown up here and stuff. What was yours?

      • Actually, I think it was the same deck! And Bulbasaur continues to be my favourite Pokemon to this day. Every time I play a new entry in the video game series, I always try to get one (as well as a Gengar). Good times… ๐Ÿ˜›

      • Yeah, the original starter pokemon were pretty awesome. I’m playing through the reboot of Sapphire at the moment and I’m hanging out to collect all of the original 150. Gengar is a pretty champion pokemon. I have to be girly an say my favorites (aside from the starters and their evolutions) were the ponyta/rapidash combo. I still haven’t wrapped my head around the whole primal and mega evolutions yet.

      • I’ve yet to pick up one of the two new titles. It’ll probably be a while before I can afford to. I’m dying to play them though as I’ve never played the originals. Do they stack up well against the originals? (Assuming you’ve played those too?) And, yeah, the Ponyta/Rapidash combo is pretty cool, but there were an awful lot of the original starters that I felt just WORKED, you know? I never did quite figure out all the evolutions of the Eevee family though…

      • I came a little late to the Pokemon franchise, but they do justice to the original games (and then some). No complaints from me. And yeah, the Eeveelutions take a whole to wrap your head around. I’ve had 3 of them in my party? I know someone who exclusively ‘breeds’ them, complete with the whole shebang about max points for damage and skills. It’s all a bit too much for me. I’d much rather just enjoy playing the game.

      • Different strokes for different folks, I guess. It all seemed a little too involved to me, that’s for sure. I think I’ll be adding those titles to my birthday list then…
